Fine lines are small, shallow (less than 2 millimeters deep) creases that form on delicate, thin skin. They are the earliest signs of aging. The fine lines on your face are associated with frowning, squinting, laughing and smiling like repetitive movements.
These fines lines first appear around eyes and mouth as the skin there is relatively thin and has frequent movements.
If left untreated or ignored, the fine lines can develop into deeper folds and form wrinkles. Therefore it is necessary to timely treat the fine lines.
Common Causes of fine lines:
For cleaning out clogged pores and to remove excess oil from your skin; you should start using a toner.
Use an alcohol-free toner that suits your skin type. Apply it with a cotton ball or a cosmetic pad after you wash or exfoliate your
face. Using too much can dry your skin out. So use optimally.
A moisturizer is everything your skin needs to keep fine lines and wrinkles away. Apply moisturizer to your skin at least twice per day; once in the morning and once in the evening.
Always apply moisturizer after washing and toning
your face. Use a moisturizer with ingredients like Aloe Vera, Sunflower seed oil, Avocado extract, Coconut oil, Shea butter.
Exfoliate once a week with an exfoliator. This clears away dead skin cells and reveals the newer, healthier skin underneath. Can use natural products like sugar, oats, etc. Exfoliate gently. Do not overdo, this can cause dryness.
Apply sunscreen before going out. Use a sunscreen that is at least SPF 30. Look for a product that offers protection from both UVA and UVB rays.
Hydrate: Drink 8 glasses of water every day. Make sure you replenish your body. Drink enough water after sweating, steam bath and exercises ( after cooling down ) to replenish.
Eat foods that are anti-aging.
Sleep for seven to eight hours every night, At night, the body secretes human growth hormone which increases cell reproduction and turnover. This helps repair damaged cells.
Anti-aging facial exercises combat both these problems by tightening the skin and smoothing out fine lines. They do this by toning and tightening the muscles on your face, which also tightens the skin.
Extra amounts of cortisol may directly connect chronic stress with fine lines and premature signs of aging, there are also some indirect ways that stress can take a toll on your youthful appearance.
Maintain a balanced quality life between family and work. This will help in reducing the stress level which is one of the main cause for aging.
