DNA BB Treatment - DNA Skin Clinic

DNA BB treatment is a very popular procedure at DNA for treating active acne. This procedure helps in treating active acne only. It will not treat the acne aftermaths like pigmentation and scars.

What is it?

An ultra concentrated gel is used that predominantly has Keratolytic and Antimicrobial properties. This helps in exfoliating and deep cleansing the pilosebaceous unit, thereby removing the acne impurities. This multifactorial effect of the solution sets it apart from the rest of the chemical peels available to treat active acne.

How is it done?

Skin is cleaned using a degreasing wipe to clear off the superficial debris.
The gel is mixed for activation.
The ultra concentrated gel is then applied onto the skin.
It is left on the skin for about 3-4 minutes.
A neutralizing solution is then sprayed onto the skin to soften and neutralize the gel applied.
The gel is then wiped off and a calming and soothing mask is applied to calm the skin down.
The mask is removed after 5 minutes and the skin is cleared off.
This is followed by a pore sealing solution which acts as a protective shield.
A calming cream is then applied. This also helps with sun protection.

Number of sessions:

Only 1 session is required for mild to moderate cases. In very severe cases, the number of procedures can go upto 3.

Downtime:

There is no downtime associated with DNA BB treatment.
